Walls of books

I really do love books in my home. I think that they make a room feel homey and comfortable. When friends take pictures in their homes, and a bookcase is visible, I sneak a peek at what is there.  (hehehe)

I really love this book wall. Unfortunately, neither me nor any kid would be able to access the books on the upper levels. So, while I love the front facing bookshelves, they really aren’t very practical.

Baby Clothes Quilt

While I hope that I am not done having babies yet, and I hope to be able to re-use some of the clothing that we have for Cambria, I think I will make a little blanket like this when my birthing years are over. . I love that she leaves all the little unique details [...]

Home or dorm?

Welcome 2011

I am going to have another go at this blog thing. I have been neglecting it, and for what reason, I don’t really know. I always really enjoyed blogging. I can blame it on being a Mom, or a wife, or a person with a full time job. But in all truth, I think it [...]

One year old

My sweet Cambria, You are one year old today. What a different being you are now compared to the sweet little blob we brought home from the hospital. You have such a wonderful personality and disposition. You have never met a person that you didn’t like and want to smile and wave at. People compliment [...]

It’s been a long, long time.

You would think I would be better about this whole blog thing now that I have a little one. But I am too busy now to even think about writing on my blog. Once I get home from work, play with the babe for a bit, feed her and put her to bed, I barely [...]
