My baby is 3 months old

My dear sweet little Cambria,

You are now 3 months old. I can’t believe the time has gone by so fast. You have grown from a little lump that slept 20 hours a day, into an adorable and happy baby that smiles more than I thought a baby could.

You LOVE to take baths, and you hate to get out.

You love looking at the ceiling fan, the Olympics, and So You Think You Can Dance.

I love how, at 3am, you will smile and coo through a diaper change.

I love snuggling with you and Dad in bed as long as possible.

Sometimes, when I let you watch So You Think You Can Dance, I feel guilty for letting a baby watch TV. But then I think it is probably just the same if I were to stick you under a mobile. It is just colors, movement and sound to you.

You love listening to Joe Walsh with Daddy.

Sometimes I sing along to songs on my iTunes to entertain you. You tolerate me for about 5 songs and then you get bored. I like to sing Mika, Wham!, and They Might Be Giants. I think you like They Might be Giants the best. You do not like Veggie Tales.

You go to bed at 8:30pm and wake up at 1:30am, 3:30am, and 5:30am. My alarm is set for 6am, but I haven’t needed to use it since you were born.

I love you my sweet Cambria.
